There are six keys to product success: SPICES: Strategy, Process, Information, Customer, Employees, and Systems. This workbook provides all of the templates to pull together a company strategy for product success.

It is used in the course by the same name.

It starts with enabling you to assess your processes, provides a framework for a successful product process, competencies needed for success, business and product canvas, authorities/responsibilities, schedule, organization, values/vision/culture, customer journey, the perfect storm, and the digital transformation.

This workbook is a companion to the courses and books outlined on the next pages. While many of the templates have notes from the courses and books to assist you if you desire additional information, the courses and books can be of considerable assistance.

David Fradin was a classically trained product manager at Hewlett-Packard during the 50 years that HP grew 20% a year. Apple recruited him to bring the first hard disk drive on a personal computer to market. He soon rose in Apple's management ranks to the same level as Steve Jobs by heading the Apple /// product line and providing the profits which helped fund the development of the Macintosh. Since 1969 he has worked on over 75 products and services, at 25 small, medium and large organizations and eleven startups covering hardware, software, services, internet, SaaS, mobile, advertising, online training, video and for non-profit public policy associations and political campaigns.
